Last Day at work

After nearly 2 years.. my tryst with my first employer has come to an end....all the formalities were done with... I am having mixed feelings.... happy since I really never enjoyed my job.. sad since I will be missing all my friends at work.....

After 2 years... i had grown really close to all of them.... I will miss them deeply... however since i will be in constant touch with them... things dont seem that bad as well.....

However let me remember some of the best moments in my 2 year stint with my former employer...

1. The training period was soooo much fun.... leaving house early in the mornin at 7 in cold cold winter of 2007....attendin the classes.... leavin at 8:30 from e-city.... and reachin home only at 10 :(...writing those exams....hmmmmm... however bad they seemed then... now puts a smile on my face.... expecially the final project on memory management... which had put my friend and me in tears..... finally was a big hit :)

2. The long walks from Alchemy to e-city campus....hmmm.. they were real fun.. the treats... sitting under the night sky in the amphitheater....hmmm... :)

3. Finally moving to Madivala for my project.... I was so serious,scared and silly initally... that I used to close Outlook whenever my boss came in.... :)

4. My first work was to do reverse engineering... which was soooo silly...... then came my first bug-fix Bug 2 .... hmmmmmmmm... never had a clue as to what has to be done...

5. The first v-con with the clients for which I had dressed formally :P .... hehehe,,, all seems so silly now....

6. The 1st time I stayed till 11 at office to send the report... .. reached home only at 12.. .. :(

7. All the times i took the late night shuttle...hehe... waiting in the dark for the cab...

8. The other things.... i did to escape from work :) ... let me not reveal much :)

9. the outings we had to Rock on... team luches at magnolia, China Pearl, Taste of Rampur, Hyderabad House, the dhaba, Punjabi Times, Silver metro,grameen, Serengetti, Chandhini Chowk...the b'day celebrations.... hehe... all real fun times...

10. The people's week celebrations... the games played.. the decorations put up... hmm... so much work done :)

11. The handsome marketing guy...from whom my eyes would never move away from... only to find out later that he was already married : ( ... none the less... he made workin... much more fun :).

12. My dear friends... all of whom made workin so much more fun :)

I had some nice times... and wish to only remember them.... lets see what lies ahead in the future :)

Such a dull day it was.. did'nt do anything useful.. thankfully have a long weekend ahead... 4 days of masti :) . Re-Bonding!!!

Finally got something interesting to write about... so here goes..
After several years ... okay maybe 4-5 ...i've begun bonding with two of my cousins again.
Not that we were'nt close before... but this time its real.. its the real thing..
We used to be kids when we used to hang around before... guess kids do that a lot.. they just need playmates.. they dont care bout the actual person.. as long as they share their toys with you...kids are fine...
Now we're all grown up.. doing grown up things like having a job.. responsibility and all that c***.
Never realised that my cousins could be my best friends too.. now I have(well better late than never) .
We have grown soo close that past couple of months that I could'nt have imagined this a ... and we're havin a blast!!!
All of us are of the same age.. just a couple of months apart.. so we have a lot in common..
We have loads of fun together... even a simple drive in the car is filled with laughter and fun!!
Just a few weeks back had been to Mysore.. where one of my cousin stays... had been boating in a lake... gone to Lalith Mahal palace and ordered an icecream for 200/- ... (Phew!!!)
But all of it was fun.. especially the long drive from Bangalore to Mysore and back..The stop at Cafe coffee day on the way was just amazing..My cousin is an excellent driver and the most enthu person I've met in my life!!
The three of us have re-bonded in a way.. i've never even dreamt of... so its kind of a pleasant surprise...
Hope we stay the same forever... and never change.. or maybe change for the better... :)

Realised something very important in life... BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER!!!!
